Online Upgrade of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle is back...........

Updated: Aug 20

This option is only available in a non-VCF aware VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle

Good News

The online upgrade of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle was affected by changes on Day-2 in May.

However, the issue has been resolved and the service is now restored.

When Customers are in connected mode, they have the option to select "Check Online" followed by "Check for Upgrade" to verify the presence of a new manifest and confirm the identification of a new upgrade.

Subsequently, they can click on "Upgrade" to continue with the workflow.

Please note that customers who are using VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.16.0 Patch 1 or PSPACK 4 are advised to install PSPACK 5 for version 8.16.0 in order to restore this feature in the UI

I just upgraded my 8.16 PSPACK to PSPACK5, however still not getting the "check online" . Check the attached image for my version and also see the backend on system upgrade page that online check is not there :(

We're on version 8.18 psp1, and also do not see the option for online update. I've reached out to VMWare, and they have no answer.
